This one pond is thought to hold approximately 90% of the Dainty Damselflies in the UK. Purchasing this land means that we can ensure its availability and suitability for wildlife forever and for visitors from our local community and further afield. As part of the project, we are drawing up plans to develop the area to further increase the biodiversity across the whole of our nature reserves and improve access for visitors."
